  1. ELA Skills Review (Monday): Complete the 2 page ELA review about Subjects and Predicates.

  2. BrainPop Writing Process: Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “The Writing Process.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.

  3. Read Chapter Books & Complete Accountability Record: Using the provided worksheet, write down the page numbers in the book that you read and summarize the main events that happened in your reading.

  4. Peer & Teacher Editing: Students will edit each other’s essays and also have a writing conference with Mrs. Burkhart.

  5. BrainPop: Pre Writing (Organizing Thoughts): Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “Pre-Writing Organizing Thoughts.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.

You will have an assignment that shows-up right under where it says “Welcome” about Constellations. It will say "upcoming assignments." You will click on the Explore Tab, and then Explore More Resources. Then, under where it says “Interact” you will click on the Exploration Constellations. Using this link complete pages 1-2 of the Exploration Pages.

  1. BrainPop American Revolution: Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “American Revolution.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.

  2. Studies Weekly Articles & Test: Through Clever, log onto Studies Weekly. Read  the assigned articles for lesson 20 and answer the questions at the end of each article. Then, complete the test based on what you read. You should be referring back to the articles when you take the test.

  3. Revolutionary War Powerpoint: This powerpoint provides key events in the American Revolution. Click on the powerpoint and read slides. This week you need to read about the battles of Fort Ticonderoga and the Battle of Bunker Hill.

  4. Liberty Kids: In class we will watch and discuss the Liberty Kids, Shot Heard Round the World Video.
