Zoom links will be posted in our "Zoom Links & Check-ins" class in Google Classroom 15-30 minutes before the scheduled meeting time.

ELA (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Types of Sentences Video: Watch the video.










     

  2. Types of Sentences Notebook: Cut out the 5 pieces of the Types of Sentences notebook page. Glue in the title.  The other 4 pieces should be glued in only on the top so that you can write below, you can also tape the top as opposed to gluing.  Label each piece, then underneath write a definition of each type of sentence, and write your own example for each. Use the pictures and attached definitions for help.  Upload a picture of your completed notebook entry to Google Classroom/ELA.















     

  3. Spelling City: Complete the Spelling City activities in the order they are listed.  Please do not use your spelling words when you are on Spelling City.  Your work will be checked by Mrs. Burkhart on Spelling City.







     

  4. Renaissance Place (STAR Reading): Log into Clever, and go to Renaissance.  Take the STAR Reading benchmark test. Remember it is important that you try your best and that you take this test without any help. 

  5. Types of Sentences: Complete the Google Form on Google Classroom/ELA to practice identifying different types of sentences.  You may use your notebook pages to help you.  You can also re-watch the videos and listen to the songs to help you remember and do better on your assignment.

  6. Types of Sentences Song: Listen to the song about types of sentences. 

  7. Types of Sentences Quiz: Complete the Google Form Quiz on Google Classroom/ELA to show what you know about different types of sentences.  This is considered a quiz, please do not use resources to help you answer these questions.

  8. Spelling City: Complete the Spelling Test on Spelling City.

MATH (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Renaissance Place (STAR Math): Log into Clever, and go to Renaissance. Take the STAR Math benchmark test. Remember it is important that you try your best and that you take this test without any help.  Use paper and pencil to show your work. 

  2. Place Value with Whole Numbers Video: Watch the video.  It is a good idea to take notes, including questions you have about the lesson.  









     

  3. Place Value Rap: Listen to the Place Value Rap song the first time, then listen again and sing along.


     

  4. Place Value with Whole Numbers (Day 1): Complete the Google Forms assignment on Google Classroom/Math.  You may use online resources to help you answer the questions. 

  5. Place Value with Whole Numbers on Pear Deck: Go to Google Classroom/Math.  There is a link for the Pear Deck presentation.  You will also need the code that is listed there as well.  Read through the place value slides and answer the questions as you go.

  6. Place Value with Whole Numbers (Day 2): Complete the Google Forms assignment on Google Classroom/Math. You may use online resources to help you answer the questions. 

  7. Place Value Notebook: Cut out the 5 pieces from the first 2 pages of the Math Interactive notebook packet.  Glue into the notebook as shown and follow the directions to come up with a number using the month, day, and year of your birthday. Make sure your number does not start with a zero.   If the number is too long, just take out one digit.  If the number is too short, just add a digit of your choice. On each of the triangle pieces write the number in its different forms. Upload a picture of your completed notebook entry to Google Classroom/Math.

SCIENCE (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Scientific Method Video: Watch the linked BrainPop video.

  2. Scientific Method: Complete the Google Forms assignment on Google Classroom/Science based on the BrainPop video.  You may go back and watch the video to find the answers.

  3. Scientific Method Song: Watch the video and listen to the song.  

  4. Scientific Method Visual: This visual is the picture that is to the right. Draw a picture of the Scientific Method visual in your notebook.  Write down the definitions of each step.  Draw a quick sketch or picture to help you remember each part of the Scientific Method.  Upload a picture of your completed notebook entry to Google Classroom/Science.

  5. Scientific Method Steps Video: Watch the video, take notes and record questions you may have as you view the video.

HISTORY (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Tour the World Video: Watch the video and listen to the song.  Bob your head and sing along, this is a great song and video!

  2. World Boom Cards: Log onto Boom Cards, sign in with Google using your Sequoia Union Chromebook login.  Complete the assigned activity called “The Oceans and Continents.”

  3. Continents, Oceans, and Maps: Complete the Google Slides activity on Google Classroom/History to learn more about the continents, oceans, and maps.  Use the resources on the first slide if you need help.

  4. Geography of the United States Notebook: Fill this page out while watching the video, then add color and glue into your notebook. It may be necessary to pause the video if you need time to get caught up or get supplies. Upload a picture of your completed notebook entry to Google Classroom/History.

  5. Continents & Oceans Quiz: Complete the Google Forms test on Google Classroom/History.  This is a test, please do not use any resources or get help on this assignment.

  6. Draw a map of the world: Draw a map of the world without looking at a map or picture of the world.  From memory, draw and label anything you can recall about the continents and oceans of our world from what we have learned the past two weeks.  Make sure you add color to your drawing! Please attach the picture that you to the World Map Drawing assignment in Google Classroom/History.
