  • Students will probably retain more if they DO NOT watch all of the videos on Monday.

  • In an effort to space out when they watch the videos and help them pace themselves I have provided a sample work schedule for the week.

SOCIAL STUDIES

The goal is to finish all 50 states. You can do the paper version that is in your original packet, Book Creator version, or both - you choose what works for you.  However, we did not copy all 50 states in the paper version, so you will have to do some states using Book Creator. This assignment is meant to be fun, not stressful.  Take your time and do what you can.  I prefer quality over quantity.

  • States and Capitals Cards (Book Creator Version- See Google Classroom/History for the link)
The following are the remaining states not assigned the in the first three weeks (there are no paper versions for these):
    Maine
    Vermont
    New Hampshire
    New York
    Pennsylvania
    New Jersey
    Connecticut
    Rhode Island
    Massachusetts

  • Study States and Capitals using Study Guides & Mrs. Burkhart’s Class Website
(States & Capitals Resource Link)   &   (States & Capitals Notes Link)

  • State Cards are not due this week.

If you are flying through your work and would like additional assignments please use the following to aid in your learning.  These are not required assignments.
