Refresh the class website & Google Classroom every time you get on. Also, use the classwork tab in Google Classroom, your planner, and the class website to keep up with what you have to do and what you have completed. Be sure to complete assignments in order according to the class website and remember Google Classroom may not be in your order.

  1. Read BOTR Ch. 17 & 18: Read chapters 17-18 in Blood on the River. If you are using Audible you need to also be sure that you are following along in your Blood on the River book.

  2. BOTR Ch. 17 & 18 Typed Summary: Go to Google Classroom/ Burkhart ELA. Click on the document titled BOTR Summaries. Start typing your summary for chapters 17-20 by typing the summaries for chapters 17 & 18. Remember your summary should highlight the main events and main characters in the chapters. Be sure that you capitalize proper nouns. Sentences should start with capital letters and end with a punctuation mark. My suggestions is read Ch. 17 and type the summary, then read Ch. 18 and type the summary.

  3. Read BOTR Ch. 19 & 20: Read chapters 19-20 in Blood on the River. If you are using Audible you need to also be sure that you are following along in your Blood on the River book.

  6. BOTR Ch. 17-20 Illustration: Draw a picture that illustrates what came to your mind when reading chapters 17-20.

  7. Stink Bug Graphic Organizer: 1st: You will read the articles on Stink Bugs, and highlight information your might want to use in your essay. 2nd: You will identify your 3 subtopics for your three body paragraphs Then, you will find at least 3 supporting details for each subtropic. 3rd: You will You will write your introduction. 4th: You will write your conclusion. Use your resources to help you.  

  8.   1. iReady Math: This is NOT optional.  Through Clever, log into iReady. Click on Reading and then click start. You should do at least 30 minutes of iReady Math lessons.

  2. MobyMax Fact Fluency: Through Clever, log into MobyMax and complete at least 15 minutes of multiplication fact fluency practice.

  3. Factors & GCF Lesson: This lesson will be in-person for Cohort A on Monday and Cohort B on Tuesday. It will be available for Distance Learners on Tuesday via Video. This is an introductory lesson into Factors and Greatest Common Factors (GCF).

  4. My Math Pages 559-560: You MUST SHOW YOUR WORK on a piece of notebook paper and answer the question on the worksheet. If you do not show your work, your assignment will not be graded.

  5. GCF Boom Cards: Go to Boom Cards, select Sign in with Google (be sure you are using your Sequoia Union Google. Complete the assigned deck called Greatest Common Factor. You must show your work. Be sure to number each problem. You will turn your work in when you are back at school. Distance learners will attach a picture of their work to the assignment on Google Classroom.

  6. Practice 9-6 Greatest Common Factors: You MUST SHOW YOUR WORK on a piece of notebook paper and answer the question on the worksheet. If you do not show your work, your assignment will not be graded.

  7. Prime & Composite Lesson: This lesson will be in-person for Cohort A on Thursday and Cohort B on Friday. It will be available for Distance Learners on Friday via Video. This is an introductory lesson into Prime & Composite Numbers.

  1. BrainPop:  Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “Water Supply.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.

  2. Hydrosphere Flippable:  Using the rubric and the information provided fold and cut your paper like the example. Then, write the correct information on the inside of the flaps, draw a picture to represent that information on the outside of the flap. In the middle section you will draw a picture and label the required components of the water cycle.

  3. Earth's Spheres NearPod:  First go to NearPod, enter the code 96CTP under where it says Students Join a Lesson. Click “join” after you have entered the code.

  4. BrainPop:  Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “Ground Water.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.

  1. Studies Weekly Week 13 - New England Colonies: Log in to Studies Weekly using your Clever account.  Read or listen to all of the articles. Answer the questions at the end of each article. You do NOT have to do the Think & Review or the Let’s write.

  2. New England Colonies Lesson: This lesson will be in-person for Cohort A on Monday and Cohort B on Tuesday. It will be available for Distance Learners on Tuesday via Video. This lessons is an overview of each of the New England Colonies. You will fill out the notes pages based on the lesson

  3. New England Colonies Notes Pages: These pages will be filled out based on the notes that you take during the lesson on the New England Colonies.

  4. Studies Weekly Week 13 Test - New England Colonies:  Log in to Studies Weekly using your Clever account. Read and answer each question carefully. I recommend having the paper version out and finding and highlighting the answer on that before marking any answers on the quiz.  It could also work to have two tabs open as you take the test.  One tab will be the articles for you to refer to, the other with the test. Make sure you read each question carefully!.
