ELA (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Read Sign of the Beaver (Chapters 23-25): Read chapters 19-20 in your Sign of the Beaver Book.  Be sure to read carefully, please do not read ahead.

  2. Sign of the Beaver (Chapters 23-25) Google Forms: Complete the Google Form on Google Classroom/ELA. You may look back in your book to find answers and you can also look up the definitions to words that you do not know. 

  3. Chapter Summaries Google Forms: Complete the Google Form on Google Classroom/ELA. All of the answers will be either in the summary or in your book.  You may look back in your book for the answers. 

  4. Sign of the Beaver AR Test: Log in to Renaissance Place through your Clever account. Click on Accelerated Reader Independent Reading and take the assigned Sign of the Beaver AR test.

  5. Conjunctions Video: Watch the assigned/linked video.

  6. Conjunctions Notebook: Take out the conjunctions page from your first set of notebook pages.  Cut out the long strips of train cars and attach the two pieces together to make one long train.  Use an accordion fold for the train so that it is smaller (see pictures below). Glue the train into your notebook, and then copy the notes from the pictures onto your notebook page. Add color. Take a picture of the completed page and upload it to the assignment in Google Classroom.










     

  7. Conjunctions Video: Watch the assigned/linked video.

  8. Conjunctions Boom Cards: There are two sets of cards for this assignment. One set is titled, “Coordinating Conjunctions (for, nor, yet, so)” and the other set is titled, “Coordinating Conjunctions (and, but, or).”

  9. Spelling City Activities: Complete the Spelling City activities in the order they are listed. Please do not use your spelling words when you are on Spelling City.  Activities need to be done by 3:30 on Friday. Please remember, you DO NOT log into spelling city with your Google Account.  Username are your first and last name with no spaces & no capital letters.  Passwords are your 4-digit lunch numbers, no zeros at the end.

  10. Spelling City Test: Complete the Spelling Test on Spelling City. This test needs to be done by 3:30 on Friday.

MATH (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Subtract Decimals Video: Watch the assigned/linked video

  2. Subtract Decimals Google Forms: Complete the Google Forms assignment on Google Classroom/Math.  You may use online resources to help you answer the questions.  You MUST show your work on a piece of notebook paper and attach that work to this assignment for full credit.

  3. Subtract Decimals Notebook Page: Take out the 2 pages titled “Subtracting Decimals” from your notebook pages.  Cut out the pieces and complete the necessary information.  Use the pictures below to help. Add color. Take a picture of the completed page and upload it to the assignment in Google Classroom.











     

  4. Subtract Decimals Boom Cards: Log onto Boom Cards and complete the assigned deck called “Subtract Decimals (Grade 5).”  You MUST show your work on a piece of notebook paper and attach that work to this assignment for full credit.

  5. Add and Subtract Decimals Nearpod: First go to Nearpod, enter the code LEDMNunder where it says Students Join a Lesson. Click “join” after you have entered the code.

  6. Add and Subtract Decimals Notebook Page: Take out the page titled “Adding and Subtracting Decimals” from your notebook pages.  Cut out the pieces and complete the necessary information.  Use the pictures below to help. Add color. Take a picture of the completed page and upload it to the assignment in Google Classroom.

SCIENCE (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Brain Pop (States of Matter): Log onto Clever, and select Brain Pop. Once on BrainPop complete the assigned video, quiz, and vocabulary assignments.

  2. Physical & Chemical Changes Notebook Page: Take out the two pages in your NEW Science Interactive Notebook packet titled “Changes in Matter”, they look kind of like comic book pages.  Add color to the pictures, and fill out the information from the attached pictures.  Some of the information will be a review from previous weeks.  Cut this out and glue into your notebook. Remember to take a picture and upload it to this assignment so that you can receive credit.








     

  3. Brain Pop (Changing States of Matter): Log onto Clever, and select Brain Pop. Once on BrainPop complete the assigned video, quiz, and vocabulary assignments.

  4. Physical & Chemical Changes Notebook Sort:Take out the two pages from your new Science Interactive Notebook packet titled “Physical and Chemical Changes”.  Add color to the pictures, then cut out the picture squares and sort them by their state of matter.  Glue the pieces in the correct section, then neatly glue this part into your notebook.  You will have to fold your in half in order for it to fit. Remember to take a picture and upload it to this assignment so that you can receive credit.









     

  5. Physical Demonstration Project: Physical Demonstration Project: Click on the Google Doc and record the information required based on what you chose to do for your demonstration. Join our class on Study.com by clicking on the link.  If you join our class through the link below you should not have to enter the code. You should just be able to join the class.  If you enter some other way and are asked for a class code enter the code

HISTORY (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Native American Home Project: Construct a Native American home from one of the 4 regions we have studied.  Be sure to follow the directions and rubric to ensure your home meets the requirements. You will also need to type a paragraph that has beginning, middle and end. The paragraph should clearly explain the significance of the home for the region.
