Choose Math, then it will begin the test.  Plan to work about 20 minutes, and then take a break.  It is a long test, and you don’t need to do it all at once.  When you need a break, take one! Use paper and pencil, or your dry erase board to work out problems as needed. Make sure you do you very best, but don’t get outside help, or your results won’t be accurate and you won't get lessons that are right for you.  This test needs to be done by 3:30 on Friday.

HISTORY (Complete Assignments in Order)

  1. Studies Weekly Week 2 - American Indians of the Southwest: Log in to Studies Weekly using your Clever account.  Read or listen to all of the articles and answer the questions at the end of each article. There are 3 questions at the end of the first 6 articles that need to be answered online.  When you get to Think and Review and Let's Write, just record your answers on a sheet of notebook paper.  You do not have to turn this paper in, but these answers may help you when you take the test.
    Articles Include:
    Mystery at Mesa Verde
Ancient Puebloeans in the Southwest Cultural Region
Travel: Remnants of the Ancient Puebloans
What kind of Government did the Ancient Puebloans have?
    Ancient Survival and Sophistication
    Four Corners Geography
    Think and Review
    Let's Write

  2. American Indians of the Southwest Notebook: Pull out the page titled “Native Americans of the Southwest”.  As you read the articles in Studies Weekly, fill out all of the information you can  about the Pueblo Native Americans on the notebook page.  Use the picture below to help you fill out the information about the Navajo.  When it is complete, Glue it into your notebook.  You may have to fold it in half in order for it to fit neatly.

  3. Studies Weekly Week 2 - American Indians of the Southwest:  Log in to Studies Weekly using your Clever account. Read and answer each question carefully. I recommend having the paper version out and finding and highlighting the answer on that before marking any answers on the quiz.  It could also work to have two tabs open as you take the test.  One tab will be the articles for you to refer to, the other with the test. Make sure you read each question carefully!
