Refresh the class website & Google Classroom every time you get on. Also, use the classwork tab in Google Classroom, your planner, and the class website to keep up with what you have to do and what you have completed. Be sure to complete assignments in order according to the class website and remember Google Classroom may not be in your order.

  1. Spelling City Activities & Test: Complete the Spelling City activities in the order they are listed and then take the Spelling City Test. 

  2. iReady Reading: This is NOT optional.  Through Clever, log into iReady. Click on Reading and then click start.

  3. Independent Reading/AR: This is NOT optional. You should spend at least 30 minutes reading a book of your choice. You may read paper copies of books or you can find books on Epic.  When you complete your book, you need to take an AR test on the book.  AR tests are taken by logging onto Clever and then go to Renaissance. Find your book and take the test.

  4. Just Write Lesson 1: In the Just Write Book you will complete lesson 1 on pages 4-5. Be sure to read ALL instructions, passages, text boxes, and questions carefully.

  5. Commas in a Series Lesson: This is an introductory lesson and an in class activity.  Distance Learners will watch the recorded lesson on Tuesday.

  6. Just Write Lesson 2: In the Just Write Book you will complete Lesson 2 on pages 6-7. Be sure to read ALL instructions, passages, text boxes, and questions carefully.

  7. Informative Writing Unit Lesson 2: Using Kami, complete Lesson 2 Informative Writing Topics.

  8. Kingly Commas: Using Kami, place the commas where they go in each of the sentences. In the diamond at the end of each sentence write the number of commas that you added.  Your total should add up to 26 at the end. 

  9. Study.Com Commas in a Series: Log onto our class for Study.com. If it does not let you watch the entire video you are NOT logged in correctly. Watch the video and then take the quiz.

  10. Just Write Lessons 3 & 4: In the Just Write Book you will complete Lesson 3 on pages 8-9 and Lesson 4 on pages 10-11. Be sure to read ALL instructions, passages, text boxes, and questions carefully.

  11. Informative Writing Unit Lessons 3 & 4: Using Kami, complete Lesson 3 Finding Online Sources and Lesson 4, Research and Note taking (There are 3 pages that go with Lesson 4, you need to do all of them). For lesson 4 you are planning the 3 body paragraphs for your topic.

  1. MobyMax Fact Fluency: Through Clever, log into MobyMax and complete at least 30 minutes of multiplication fact fluency practice.

  2. Division with 1-Digit Divisors: This is an introductory lesson. Distance Learners will watch the recorded lesson on Tuesday.

  3. My Math pgs. 203 & 204: Using Kami, complete this assignment. You MUST SHOW YOUR WORK. If you do not show your work, your assignment will not be graded.  Please use a separate sheet of notebook paper to show your work and upload a picture of that math. In addition, be sure to put the answer to each problem on the worksheet using Kami. Do not try to show your work using Kami.

  5. Khan Academy: Through Clever, log onto Khan Academy. First, watch the video titled "Intro to Long Division (no remainders)" and Long Division." Then, complete the practice problems titled, "Divide multi-digit numbers by 6, 7, 8, and 9 (remainders)."

  6. Zeros in the Quotient: This is an introductory lesson. Distance Learners will watch the recorded lesson on Friday.

  7. My Math pgs. 217 & 218: Using Kami, complete this assignment. You MUST SHOW YOUR WORK. If you do not show your work, your assignment will not be graded.  Please use a separate sheet of notebook paper to show your work and upload a picture of that math.   1. Ecosystems Poster (Food Web Project): Using the poster board select an ecosystem and create a food web based on the rubric. On the back of your project you will glue the rubric. Be sure to color your drawings and clearly label the required parts. Also, be sure to show the arrows with the correct flow of energy.

  2. NearPod Symbiotic Relationships: First go to Nearpod, enter the code U75Z4 under where it says Students Join a Lesson. Click “join” after you have entered the code.

  3. NearPod Ecosystems: First go to Nearpod, enter the code T687H under where it says Students Join a Lesson. Click “join” after you have entered the code.

  4. MobyMax Relationships in Ecosystems: Through Clever, log into MobyMax. In your assignments you have a lesson and a test titled, Relationships in Ecosystems.” You need to do the lesson first (there are 56 slides) and then take the test (5 questions).

  1. Early Colonies Videos: This is an introductory videos.  Distance Learners will watch videos.

  2. Studies Weekly Week 9 - Where Old and New Meet: Log in to Studies Weekly using your Clever account.  Read or listen to all of the articles. Answer the questions at the end of each article. You do NOT have to do the Think & Review or the Let’s write.

  3. Studies Weekly Week 9 Test - Where Old and New Meet:  Log in to Studies Weekly using your Clever account. Read and answer each question carefully. I recommend having the paper version out and finding and highlighting the answer on that before marking any answers on the quiz.  It could also work to have two tabs open as you take the test.  One tab will be the articles for you to refer to, the other with the test. Make sure you read each question carefully!
