Also, use the classwork tab in Google Classroom, your planner, and the class website to keep up with what you have to do and what you have completed. Be sure to complete assignments in order according to the class website and remember Google Classroom may not be in your order.

  1. Narrative Writing Lesson: This is an introductory lesson about Narrative Writing and its components. It will be recorded on Monday morning and will be available for distance learners by 10:30.

  2. Read Rush Revere Chapter 7: Read Chapter 7 in Rush Revere and the First Patriots. If you are using Audible you need to also be sure that you are following along in your Rush Revere book.

  3. Rush Revere Chapter 7 Vocabulary: Be sure to define the vocabulary words based on how the word is used in the book.

  4. Video & Spice Up Your Writing: You will be watching the linked video, and then use descriptive words to fill out the “Spicing Up your Writing” page.

  5. Rush Revere Chapter 7 Questions: Using the book, answer the questions for Rush Revere Chapter 7 questions.

  6. Adjectives Boom Cards: Go to Boom Cards, select Sign in with Google (be sure you are using your Sequoia Union Google. Complete the assigned deck called “Adjectives.”

  7. Character Traits Writing Lesson: This is a lesson about Character Traits. It will be recorded on Thursday morning and will be available for distance learners by 10:30.

  8. A Very Special Person: You will be using descriptive words to fill out the “A Very Special Person” page.

  1. Discovery Education Techbook:  Through Clever, log onto Discovery Education. You will have 4 assignments that show up right under where it says Welcome. It will say "upcoming assignments." You will start with the Engage Tab and use handout to fill in the blanks on the paper with the information on the Engage Tab page to define words, summarize videos, and be sure that you have answered the questions at the end of each section. Then, you will go to the Explore Tab use the handout to fill in the blanks on the paper with the information and continue defining words, reading the information, watching the videos, and answering any questions. You will then complete the assigned Explorations and handouts that go with the explorations that are titled Gravity and Lose Weight without Dieting. When you have finished you will take the assigned review quiz and then the summative assessment.

  2. BrainPop: Gravity: Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “Gravity.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.

Causes of the American Revolution Timeline: Using the directions and rubric provided, begin working on your Causes of the American Revolution Timeline.  You will be using the sheet provided to plan out your timeline and the key information for each event, as well as the illustrations you will be doing.

  2. BrainPop: French and Indian War: Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “French and Indian War.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.

  3. BrainPop: Ben Franklin: Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “Ben Franklin.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.
